By using a compactness result obtained in [C.H. Wang, J. Yang, Infinitely many solutions for an elliptic problem with double Hardy–Sobolev–Maz’ya terms, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst., 36(3):1603–1628, 2016], we prove the existence of these solutions by a combination of invariant sets method and Ljusternik–Schnirelman-type minimax method

    Mobile ecommerce is immersed rapid familiar to other high-flying Internet markets. With the fast developing of wireless connections and Internet, electronic commerce more and more moves to mobile environment. Streaming, as a rapid growing application in Internet, will be more used in mobile ecommerce. In this paper, we’ll review the network protocol used in mobile ecommerce and streaming technology. An optimized architecture is given based on MPEG-4 and Mobile Ipv6. The core streaming protocol used in this architecture is RTSP/RTP proposed by IETF. This system gives one possible implementation of streaming over wireless network. Two key bottlenecks we found in this project are wireless bandwidth and mobile client power. To avoid the two problems, self-adaptive methodology is used. Let streaming application be adaptive to the wireless network environment to improve streaming performance

    Performance Enhancement of Multipath TCP for Wireless Communications with Multiple Radio Interfaces

    ArticleMultipath TCP (MPTCP) allows a TCP connection to operate across multiple paths simultaneously and becomes highly attractive to support the emerging mobile devices with various radio interfaces and to improve resource utilization as well as connection robustness. The existing multipath congestion control algorithms, however, are mainly loss-based and prefer the paths with lower drop rates, leading to severe performance degradation in wireless communication systems where random packet losses occur frequently. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a new mVeno algorithm, which makes full use of the congestion information of all the subflows belonging to a TCP connection in order to adaptively adjust the transmission rate of each subflow. Specifically, mVeno modifies the additive increase phase of Veno so as to effectively couple all subflows by dynamically varying the congestion window increment based on the receiving ACKs.     Phytoestrogen -zearalanol ameliorates memory impairment and neuronal DNA oxidation in ovariectomized mice

    OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a novel phytoestrogen, α-Zearalanol, on Alzheimer's disease-related memory impairment and neuronal oxidation in ovariectomized mice. METHODS: Female C57/BL6 mice were ovariectomized or received sham operations and treatment with equivalent doses of 17β-estradiol or α-Zearalanol for 8 weeks. Their spatial learning and memory were analyzed using the Morris water maze test. The antioxidant enzyme activities and reactive oxygen species generation, neuronal DNA oxidation, and MutT homolog 1 expression in the hippocampus were measured. RESULTS: Treatment with 17β-estradiol or α-Zearalanol significantly improved spatial learning and memory performance in ovariectomized mice. In addition, 17β-estradiol and α-Zearalanol attenuated the decrease in antioxidant enzyme activities and increased reactive oxygen species production in ovariectomized mice. The findings indicated a significant elevation in hippocampi neuronal DNA oxidation and reduction in MutT homolog 1 expression in estrogen-deficient mice, but supplementation with 17β-estradiol or α-Zearalanol efficaciously ameliorated this situation. CONCLUSION: These results demonstrate that α-Zearalanol is potentially beneficial for improving memory impairments and neuronal oxidation damage in a manner similar to that of 17β-estradiol. Therefore, the compound may be a potential therapeutic agent that can ameliorate neurodegenerative disorders related to estrogen deficiency
